Recently we ran a photo competition for our Junior Landcare Superheroes where the children were tasked with creating a “Landcare-inspired” project of their choice before submitting one photograph of their project for judging.
We ran this competition through Facebook and allowed members of the public to vote for their favourite picture, over a period of one week.
The result was extremely close, with only a handful of votes between first and second place and I am pleased to be able to announce our winners!
First Place – Ryan and his home-made fertiliser factory 
Second Place – Bradon and his wonderful handmade insect hotel 
Third Place – Banjoe and his container garden dedicated to his dog Snowy
It was really fantastic to see these children and their projects receiving a huge amount of support from our community and I must also say thank you to everybody who placed a vote and assisted in encouraging these children to continue practising their new Landcare skills.
