Cooloola Coastcare and the Fraser Island Defenders Organisation are holding another BioBlitz in 2019 from 17th to 19th May at Rainbow Beach.
Last year they discovered 28 species, new to science in just 48 hours. Read more about this report here.
Cooloola Coastcare would like to extend an invitation to the community to join them at the 2019 Cooloola BioBlitz which is shaping up to be a great event.
Although this year they will be sadly without the fearless leader, John Sinclair, due to his recent passing, they will be carrying on this series of events in tribute to his legacy to conservation in the Cooloola region.
