Noni Metzler and her art group met on Tuesday at Messmate Park in order to get ideas for their art exhibition to be held in May next year. The theme is Messmate Park.
Looking at the park from an artist’s vision opens up a whole new world. Termite mound pieces were one of the many mediums used along with more traditional oils and acrylics.
Marc Russell joined us to help identify the myriad of trees, vines and grasses. His knowledge is incredible – it was difficult to keep up with the correct botanical names and to try to absorb same.
Many thanks to Marc and Noni for a most enjoyable day.
