Bush Regeneration Trainer

The purpose of this role is to adequately teach and oversee the progress of four (4) Bush Regenerator Trainees. You will be responsible for practical training of the trainees in Certificate I in Conservation & Land Management. This will require classroom training, working within the nursery propagation and production team, as well as outdoor practical training on project sites. You will also be responsible for scheduling essential external training for the trainees (i.e. white cards).

Out in the field you will take direction from the Project Leader in relation to project outcomes and supervise the bush regeneration trainees in carrying out project works, including bushland regeneration, riparian restoration, invasive species control, and revegetation. In the nursery you will work with the Production Leader to ensure production targets are met and trainees complete certain modules of their training. As this is a teaching position, you must hold the relevant essential qualifications to be considered for this role.

This position is a 44 week contract on a permanent full-time basis. However, at the end of the contract, there will be opportunity to discuss ongoing employment.
