Description
Planning, preparation and implementation; how to incorporate animals and plants in your design; tour a property to examine permaculture in practice and learn about the landholder’s revegetation project.
You will travel by bus in air-conditioned comfort. As field sessions may involve walking up to 500m through paddocks and wooded areas, walking shoes, long trousers, hat, sunscreen, and a water bottle are recommended. Participants must have the capacity to walk through paddocks and stand for reasonable periods, however, walking will not be arduous nor on particularly steep grades.
This session forms part of our ‘how to care for your rural block course’ but bookings are also taken for the attendance of individual sessions. This sessions commence at 8 am sharp we meet the bus at the Landcare Office 350 Old Maryborough rd, Araluen.
