Description
This is one for the gardeners!
Join us to hear Dr Chanyarat (Chany) Paungfoo-Lohienne , Research Fellow and Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Agriculture and food Sciences, at University of Queensland, speak about the recent trials conducted with Gympie & District Landcare. These trials compared the performance of vermicast (aka worm juice) with commercial fertiliser in the garden. The results are great news for gardeners, not so much for fertiliser companies…
These findings will be presented by Chany in Session 1.
Following morning tea, our Biological Services Manager Yvonne Hennell & team member Ella Borchert, will be presenting a Workshop on the Basics of Worm Farming, where the will talk about all things in the composting worm world. Session 2
- How to make your own worm farm for very little cost.
