Queensland is committed to reducing its carbon emissions by 30 percent on 2005 levels by 2030. This will lay the foundation for our ultimate goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, and help ensure the long-term viability of our economy, communities, and industries in a low carbon world.
To keep Queenslanders informed about target attainment and specific actions a newsletter has been launched namely, 30 X 30 to provide updates on government climate programs, as well as stories and highlights from communities and businesses who are taking #QldClimateAction.
