[one-half-first]A long overdue welcome is extended to our newest committee member Barry Lambooy who was appointed by the Committee a couple of months ago. [one-half][/one-half]
Barry headed off on a round the world sailing trip from South Africa and was stopped by the beauty of Australia in 1991 and has been here ever since.
When it comes to trees Barry has seen more than most working for many years in the agricultural industry in the Kalahari desert and as a timber cutter in north Queensland.
As a former auditor/chartered accountant, Landcare minute Secretary and nursery volunteer, Barry brings a range of skills and expertise to guide our financial future and capitalise on the potential for growth and expansion.
