Free Trees For Ratepayers

Beautiful Native Plants - FREE!!!

Planting local native species helps to increase biodiversity, provides food and habitat for our beautiful fauna, and enhances the beauty of your land and our region. What’s better than that?

When they’re FREE of course!

Free Trees for Ratepayers program

Gympie Regional Council’s Free Trees for Ratepayers program provides all ratepayers/landowners with 2 free tube stock native plants per rates notice. These tubestock plants are grown by us and Cooloola City Farm on the coast.

No space for trees?

That’s okay – you can also choose a ground cover, shrub, climber or why not consider one of our many species suitable for pots?

Not a plant person?

That’s okay too. Consider giving your free plants to a friend or neighbour. Alternatively, consider donating your free plants to one of our wonderful local environmental groups.

The only provisions are they MUST be planted in the Gympie Region and on private property.

Imagine this: With about 25,000 rate payers in the Gympie region, together we could add 100,000 plants to our beautiful biosphere ever year!

Help us make our region even more vibrant, beautiful, and ecologically resilient. Claim your free plants today and let’s grow Gympie greener, together!
