About the Program
Our Junior Landcare Program has been designed to inspire and educate children in the Gympie region about a whole range of sustainable and regenerative environmental and local land management practices. The program is aimed at children in the primary school age group (6-13 years) and the children are currently loving all of the things that they have been learning.
Sessions are held on Thursday afternoons during QLD school terms from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. Most sessions will be held at our Gympie Landcare Conference Room, located at 5 Groves Road, Araluen QLD 4570. Occasional local field trips will be incorporated into this program and parents will be advised, prior to the date, of the location to meet for these sessions.
